Shipping policy

Hey there, and thank you for shopping with The Petzzy! We know how exciting it is to wait for something special for your furry friend, so we want to make sure you have all the details about how we get your order to your doorstep.

Order Processing Time Every order is carefully reviewed and prepared by our team within 1–3 business days after your payment is successfully confirmed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays. If you place an order on a weekend or holiday, we'll start processing it the next business day.

Please note that during peak seasons (like holidays, Black Friday, or special sales), processing times may be slightly longer due to high order volume. We always appreciate your patience and promise to get your order out as quickly as we can.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

We currently offer the following shipping option within the United States:

  • Standard Shipping (7–12 business days): $4.99 flat rate
  • FREE Standard Shipping on all orders of $50.00 and above

Please keep in mind that delivery times are estimates based on the carrier's typical performance and do not include the 1–3 business day order processing time. Total delivery time = processing time + shipping time.

Where We Ship At this time, The Petzzy ships exclusively within the United States, including all 50 states. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, US territories, or international destinations. We hope to expand our shipping coverage in the future, so stay tuned!

Order Tracking Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to track your package. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update after you receive the email. If your tracking number isn't working or hasn't updated after 48 hours, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Shipping Address Accuracy Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We ship to the address provided at checkout, and we cannot be responsible for orders sent to incorrectly entered addresses. If you realize there's an error, please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order so we can try to update it before it ships.

Delivery Delays While we and our shipping carriers do our absolute best, sometimes delays happen due to:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Carrier service interruptions
  • High-volume seasons (holidays, sales)
  • Incorrect or incomplete address information
  • Customs or security checks

These delays are beyond our control, but we'll always do our best to keep you informed and help resolve any issues.

Damaged Packages We are so sorry if your package arrives in less-than-perfect condition. If your order is damaged during transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging
  • A brief description of the damage

We'll work quickly to send a replacement or issue a refund — whichever you prefer.

Lost Packages If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you can't find it, please:

  1. Check around your delivery location (porch, mailbox, neighbors, building lobby)
  2. Wait 24–48 hours, as sometimes packages are marked delivered slightly early
  3. Contact your local carrier to file a missing package claim
  4. Reach out to us — we'll help in any way we can

For packages confirmed lost in transit (not marked delivered), please contact us within 14 days and we'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue and send a replacement or refund.

Undeliverable Packages If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to pick up, we'll reach out to confirm the next steps. Reshipment may require additional shipping fees.
